Why private instruction? Even if your child is part of a music program in school, individualized instruction can benefit your child by giving attention to specific musical needs.   While we certainly encourage participation in the school program,  the typical band/orchestra director simply does not have time to regularly offer one-on-one attention.

Music Tooters offers a unique approach to private instruction. Typically, lessons are thirty minutes once a week. We offer the same thing; however, we can offer you a cost-saving approach that will benefit the student, and save you money and time. Here's how it works: It's called "duo or trio" lessons." We have found that if you group two or three students of the same ability together, your child will experience more "fun," increased motivation, and greater self-confidence when working along side a friend. If your child does not have a partner, he can start as a solo lesson or let Music Tooters place your child within a matched ability group.
