Meet Our Staff

Mr. Casteel attended University of Michigan, University of Texas, and Wayne State University where he earned both a Bachelor's and Master's of Music Education. He has studied privately with many of the finest trumpet teachers in the U.S. and has played professionally for over 30 years both nationally and internationally. He is currently Adjunct Professor of Jazz Studies and Trumpet at Macomb Community College. He has taught elementary through college level music for over 20 years and thoroughly understands the needs of young musicians and has the desire to share this knowledge through Music Tooters.
